Week 10 Learning Update

Hi families!

Attached is the learning plan for week 10!

Literacy
Free Journal	While at school we used to do Free Journal. Students were asked to write 6 or more sentences on any topic that they wanted.   Use paper and a writing utensil to write the Free Journal. Remember to include a fully coloured picture that matches the writing
Epic!	In your assignments: Read – Oopsy Teacher The Thing Lou Couldn’t Do Write a response to ONE of the books Sentence starters are listed in the Instructions of the job
Words of the Week	This week is a review of many of our old words. 1.      coming 2.      want 3.      thing 4.      night 5.      your 6.      animal 7.      food 8.      habitat Try to include an adjective in 2 sentences (a describing word)
Raz-Kids	Read and record: The Brainstorm Bear Film a FlipGrid retelling the story to share with friends

Addition & Subtraction Practice	Complete the questions practicing addition and subtraction. Practice the word problem listed at the bottom too
Inquiry
Sloth Research	Create a research project on paper or on a Google Slide all about sloths Details to what the assignment requires is listed in the Instructions part of the job Links to resources are listed in the assignment

2D Shape: Free Draw Challenge	Use your creativity to make pictures out of the squares provided.

Selfie with Miss Huynh	Follow the instructions in the assignment.
