Happy weekend everyone!
I just wanted to send out some updates for everyone.

Our school is still collecting food donations for the Calgary Food Bank. We are collecting non-perishable items until December 16th. Thank you SO much to the families that brought donations already. It's greatly appreciated and will make this winter season much better for those in need.

The holiday concert is quickly approaching. Our music teacher has asked our class to continue practicing singing and memorizing our lines. I am so excited to share with you all of their hard work. We had such a fun day today! We learned about jumping and hopping in gym. We also learned many new sight words. We practiced reading and we shared with our friends what we did on the weekend. Our class continues to learn about numbers, and we explored place value using tens rods and ones blocks in partners.

Thank you for booking your conference time. I appreciate it!

Tomorrow is Crazy Hair Day - kids can make some creative hairstyles tomorrow to help promote school spirit.
The school is also accepting can and food donations for the Food Drive.

Here are some photos of the kids making germ art. We were focused on keeping ourselves in good health by germ prevention. Ask your child how they keep themselves and others from catching germs.

Good afternoon families!

Our day was busy. I have a few updates for everyone for the weekend.

Pizza money and forms are due on Thursday.

We do not have school on Monday due to Remembrance Day.

Please keep up the great work with doing home reading and home writing every day. It helps improve fluency and a great literacy relationship at home.

Good afternoon everyone!

We had a fun day working so hard on addition. Today we practiced using personal strategies to add!

We begun a learning experience about the past in the prairies. Kids learned about transportation in the past and present. I hope everyone talks about what they learned today! There are some different modes of transportation.
