We were busy bees yesterday (February 12th).
We are trying a new game called Prodigy. Please ask your child for login information.

We also were very kind and happy students when exchanging our friendship cards!! I am so proud of the gratitude and kindness each child demonstrated to the other children in their classroom community.
I feel very lucky to have such a lovely class!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful mini-break. I'm learning lots at Teacher's Convention and can't wait to see the kids again on Tuesday.

I want to extend my thanks to all of the families that took time out of their busy schedules to come see our Celebration of Learning. I am very proud of the work the students are doing. Hopefully they shared all that they know about important buildings, structures, and materials.

We had a busy and cold week at school.
Students practiced Procedural Writing. I think everyone did a great job practicing writing using capitals, periods, and finger spaces. We're all becoming excellent writers.

I am so glad to see so many of our students back at school! Hooray!

I wanted to give you some updates.

We are now starting to explore subtraction. It's the act of taking away, subtracting, and finding a smaller amount/number.

Our class is also learning about structural engineers. We're going to learn how to build a community and what's in a community.

Lastly, our students are practicing creating goals so that we can be thoughtful and improve in our writing.
