Hello!
We had such a fun day today. We started our morning with our Terry Fox run. Our class raised $19 but the school collected even more! Thank you so much for your generous donations for cancer research.

We had snack and home-reading basket switch too! Then we were painting fall foxes that were inspired by our autumnal book: Fletcher's Falling Leaves.
 
Our day ended with practicing using Raz-Kids with our big buddies.

In class we have been learning about patterns. We have been learning how to identify them, create them, and extend them. We have been practicing reading pattern labels and making our own!

We have also been practicing free reading. We explore books with our friends in a respectful and calm manner in the classroom.

Just a reminder that the Terry Fox run is this upcoming Friday.

It was wonderful to meet everyone at yesterday and Thursday's Student Learning Conferences. It's always a pleasure to get to know you because we are together working as a team to create the best learning experiences for the kids.

I just wanted to let you know that on Friday we will be having the Terry Fox run. I will remind the kids during the week to wear comfortable shoes.

Also, I sent home Scholastic book orders, if you want to send in cash or a cheque that'd be great. I love how excited the kids have been about books!

Good afternoon! We have had such a busy few weeks at school. We're learning about patterns, numbers, letters, and our community.

We have been writing every single day. We practice sharing our ideas and being kind to one another.
